Location: London Salary: £40,000

Configuration Analyst required to work for leading financial client

Have strong technical aptitude
Able to investigate defined business areas and IT systems and adopt an analytical approach when developing models to represent those systems
Good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively and confidently with Business as well as Technology stakeholders using suitable modes of communication
Aware of the rationale for modelling and the use of models to analyse, develop and implement effective information systems
Aware of the rationale for business and configuration analysis and the application of these skills and techniques within the business change and software development lifecycles
Possesses a broad understanding of the business
Shows a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
Have the ability to create concise, informative technical documentation
Have the ability to identify and escalate risks in the interest of protecting Live services/systems
Can form and maintain trusting relationships with business colleagues and demonstrate an understanding of business processes
Have advanced Excel knowledge and can use Macros/Scripts effectively. SQL is essential for investigative purposes and knowledge of additional scripting languages will be useful
