Role

As a Junior Merchandiser you will be reporting to the Senior Merchandising, Purchasing & Planning Manager and will be responsible for monitoring forecasting across the company, working closely with the Sales & Purchasing teams you will be maintaining reports to maximise sales & stock position as well as improving stock turn and profitability across the board.

 

Key Duties:

Monitoring sales out and adjusting customer forecasts.

Predicting sales volumes using order history and future marketing activity/promotions.

Notifying sales, purchasing and key stakeholders of stock movements and availability.

Preparing and delivering weekly reports and insights into stock inventory and distribution.

Requirements:

Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Personable with excellent communication skills.

Able to build relationships with people of all levels.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular MS Excel.

Self-motivated, highly organised and able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines whilst prioritising a busy work schedule.

A flexible team player with a pro-active approach and can-do attitude.

Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a similar role.
